Honey is not too bad at the moment, in fact she looks quite sparky in this photo.
Guilty, guilty, guilty.
Have not managed to post in ages, but have been working some!
Have taken a photo of my (nearly ) finished Apple County challenge, as otherwise I will just leave it until it is completely finished, and who knows when that will be?
I have decided to keep the quilting simple, and just free motioned a few apples around the edge.
Made a bit of a booboo, by using embroidery thread, because it matched, and have had to do some unsewing in places, but the binding just needs stitching down. by the way I do know my photography leaves a lot to be desired!!
My February must finishes are :
Challenge quilt
Inklingo sampler blocks, at least 2
Hexagon quilt insanity, 1 row
Start Mckenna Ryan block, (that slipped in somehow!)
Dye more fabric.
Not bad considering February is half over LOL

I love the quilt wendy and the challenge fabric as the binding finishes it off very well. Enjoyed the sewing and chatter today although I could only hear half of it until my hearing popped!!

That is a serious to do list. I went to a function last November and listened to McKenna Ryan she has had an interesting life. Her quilts are amazing. Love your girls I have 2 as well a mother and daughter. Adelaide is very small so I know where Seaford is, if your in laws don't quilt when you come I will take you on a quilting experdition. Our birds are showy but very noisy and raucous nothing like your English birds that make such wonderful sounds.
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy, I just discovered your blog from Shirley. I love your little dogs and am so pleased that you didn't lose Honey. Your challenge quilt looks fantastic!
