Round Robin finish

Well today we have unveiled the last round of our round robin. We now have our own blocks back, to finish as quilts. wallhangings or whatever takes our fancy, aren't we lucky!!
All the blocks are really stunning, and I think we all deserve a pat on the back.
This is my original block back in my hands now. Margaret has made a stunning addition in the form of a delectable mountain. All in a really stunning batik. I am absolutely overwhelmed by this, and the cogs are ticking away in my head. This is Shirleys stunning block. I have not taken a good picture of the lovely fabric that Rosemary has chosen, doesn't it look fantastic.
This is Rosemary's original block. It really does look stunning with the pinwheel border, that Shirley added. I think I can safely say that Rosemary was really pleased with her block.
Here is Margaret's original block, with the black framing border that Kate added. It really is stunning.
This is Kate's original block, with the lovely gold border that Pat, has added, I think this really does set off the block. Unfortnately Kate was unable to be there so I hope, she loves her block as much as we all did.
This is Pats original block I had added a plain cream border with little le moyne stars, in the corners, to echo the 8 pointed star in the centre, Pat was very pleased I think.
So this challenge has finished for now. We have set a date for Christmas to bring back the finished quilt. So now we have to get the old grey cells moving. I hope you all enjoy this as much as we did.
