We had a great day on Wednesday, as we have another challenge. We are going to do a round robin. The only rules are-there are no rules! The challenge is going to be to make sure we do not get the same block twice. LOL. I received this lovely block from Shirley, I have already started to add my mark. Look out Shirley:-)
This was my teeny block, which has gone to Rosemary, more of that lovely pattiserie fabric!
Here is the birthday cake that my artistic friend Kate made for Pat, Rosemary and I. (I am the one in the middle, nice and cosy.)

These were all the blocks. Margaret made the stunning tumbling blocks, a hexagonal challege for Pat. Pat made the lovely lilac star block, a yummy challenge for Shirley. Rosemary made the lovely subtle green blocks, certainly a challenge for Kate who likes zingy colours. Kate has done the seven sisters block with 6 sisters as there are six of us, another hexagonal challenge. The others are Shirleys and, yours truly, of course, this is very exciting.
Watch this space!

  1. Your Round Robin is going to be so much fun to watch! Your "cake decorator" friend is very clever. What a special way to celebrate your birthdays.

  2. Hi Wendy,
I can't wait to see what you are doing to my block. I have found the perfect fabric in my rummage today for Pat's block.( rummaging for fabric - not Pat's block - that is very safe).
Have a great Easter. See you next week.
    Love Shirley.x
